Otter Fact Friday!

Fact! A group of otters in the water is called a raft. They aren’t making a raft, they’re just called a raft đŸ˜‰ There’s generally around 10 to 100 otters in a raft. I’ve read that the largest raft ever recorded was over 2,000 sea otters. However, I can’t find a source or location for that information, so I’d take it with a grain of salt. I’m not saying that it’s not feasible, I’m just not finding a source to support that statement as fact.

Here’s a well circulated photo that shows a raft of otters ~

And I can’t very well show that photo without including the popular Dave Grohl version ~

Until next week, have a great weekend!
